A recent Adobe Analytics study shows that UK online shoppers are increasingly embracing AI shopping assistants, particularly for online shopping decisions. 69% of UK consumers trust the shopping information provided by AI, indicating that AI applications in e-commerce are becoming mainstream.
According to a survey of 2,000 UK consumers, 76% believe AI makes life easier than ever. The same percentage of respondents expressed hope that generative AI tools will not only provide the information they need but also assist with operational tasks such as order execution and automation.AI shopping assistants empower consumers in their shopping decisions by helping with product research (46%), product recommendations (44%), creating shopping lists (38%), providing gift ideas (37%), and finding the best deals (29%).
